We are Pioneers if you Please, we are pioneers if you don't please.

HAPPY PIONEER DAY!  This race was good, I'm a little sad that my time didn't improve more from the 10k I did on the 4th.  And as I look over the training I have done over the past 3 weeks I can see why- I've got to kick it in the butt!

But I am happy that my splits were more consistent, which was something I definitely didn't have on the 4th.  The goal I set before hand was under 55.  That was dumb.  I should have pushed myself and said under 53.  So next 10k I'm shooting for under 53.  Saw a lot of FRB's there- Kelli, TylerS, Josse (you passed me somewhere around mile 3), Merri, Lyns, Lily and probably more.  It's fun to recognize faces there.

good job smelly cat. I think the consistency is way more cool than an increased time :) way to go!

Leandra you are such a cute gal. It was fun to see you today. You did great! Don't get down on youself- there is no reason to hun. Most people can't even run a mile without stopping. I always try to remember that. :) Let's do this again. It was so fun.

I love seeing people I know, it makes all the pain go away!

Nice job! You did great. You are getting faster, no worries. Just remember to get out of bed each day and roll on!

Thanks everybody!

Merri- you're right, and the more I think about it the happier I am that I kept it even the whole way, even that last mile surprised me cuz I felt slow slow slow. Save a sister is gonna eat it :)

Marion- Happy 24th to you too!

Lily- Thanks! And you're exactly right. I have to remind myself of that all the time. I wish I had been able to talk to you guys more before the race, it's just all those potty breaks I have to take ruining everything :) So nervous :)

Kelli- You're right too, and that's my goal for each week. Get out of bed and do SOMETHING each day. I know it will help.

Nice work today Leandra! You've been working so hard, but after the RHPC you needed some time off. You still did a PR and did an awesome job, keep at it and you'll blow away a 53 min 10K!!!
