8 SLOW miles.  4 up the canyon and 4 back down.  The wind was a beast this morning and on my way up the canyon there were times I felt like I was moving backward.  Also, hardly running this week hasn't helped either I'm sure.  What's sad is that last Saturday I ran more than I have this whole week. :) yikes.

No worries girl...that's what recovery is all about! 1 day for every mile raced! You've still got time. I sure was glad I was running DOWN the canyon at TOU..the wind was SO bad that sometimes I thought it was literally pushing me!

You need the rest week, you have been a running and racing fool! Sorry about the wind, I hate it when that happens! But hopefully it at least made things cooler out there.

It's all good to take a recovery week. At least you got an 8 miler in. Are you running TOU in 3 weeks?
