5.1 to start out my birthday!!!  I should have gotten to sleep in today because of that, but I knew the weather was going to be cooler so I decided to get out and get going.

Did it in 44: something something.  I don't have my watch but i will post my splits later.  I love posting the splits and comparing them to just a week ago or 2 weeks ago and seeing the improvement.  i know the first 3 miles were 8:15 average and then slower the next 2 miles because I did my UVU loop and that hill is a killer.  And the wind! I wanted to kick the wind in the face. I couldn't hardly catch my breath on the last 2 miles.

I can only imagine your little chicken legs trying to kick the wind in the face :)

ha ha ha maybe all that kicking into the air that I was doing explains my slower splits...

What are you getting for your birthday? Video camera? Play Station? Ipod?

Happy Birthday!! Way to start out the day by kicking the wind in the face. You go girl. It's awesome to note your confidence in your own improvement. What a great birthday treat to feel on top of the world. Have a great day!

Thanks Teena! I am celebrating big- working til 5- boring :)

Burt- Actually instead of getting those things, I'm just going to let other people come in and take them and anything else they can get their grubby little hands on :)

Luzy- Thanks! I think this blog has been the best thing for me just in that I can record everything and notice improvement. I used to just feel like I wasn't getting anywhere so whenever I started running I would stop after a few weeks. This definitely helps me keep going !

Happy Bir-day... Better go celebrate!
