Didn't want to get up today, but I laid there for 10 minutes just feeling guilty so I did it.  Do I ever start a post without saying I didn't want to get up today?  Probably not.

4 in 33:20.  I was really happy with the time and feel like I'm getting faster.  I think right now I could get a PR in a 5k and maybe in October at Save a Sister I'll get a PR in the 10k.  As for Hobble Creek, I'm not going to push it.  As it's my first big half marathon- let's not forget RHPC 1/2, but this is my first 1/2 with a million other people running it and I'm slightly nervous.  So I've decided I'm just going to run what feels comfortable and then I can improve on my time each 1/2 to come.  Goal is to be right around 2 hours.

Today's splits- 8:20, 8:05, 8:31, 8:20

I agree I'm a little nervous for this 1/2 next weekend.

And yes I'm just going to run at a comfortable pace too - I think its a good idea - this is all new territory for us.

Good splits today - You ARE getting faster!

Awesome run today. Very nice splits.

I think your plan for the half is perfect.

Most importantly ... enjoy it!

Seriously, nice job today!
