I remember how to run! I was worried I would have forgotten.  I really had to force myself up and out.  As always glad I did.  And once I got going I remembered that I like running.  Maybe I just had a sour taste in my mouth about running because of the way I felt those last 3 miles of Hobble.  But luckily today did not feel like that.  Just took it nice and slow.  Made the mistake of running down on UVU campus and it's the first day of school and there were a million people there.  And I felt dumb running around all the people, so I won't do that again.  I'll have to find a new loop now that school has started again.  On a happier note, I ran up the big hill on 8th south by uvu and didn't stop once!  I don't know if I've ever done that before.

LOL. I don't like running by the kids that are waiting for the bus to come. I try to avoid it when I can.

Great job on the hill!

I know that hill you ran up. Good job not stopping! At the bottom of that hill you can turn North on 800 East. That goes UPPP like 800 S. does. That is part of the Turkey Tri that is held in early Nov. Master that and you will be primed for that Tri. :-)

Good run!

Way to get out there and get going again. It is sort of a let down after a big event--even up that hill without stopping! Come to the Onion Days 5K! That will be something low-key to look forward to!

8 south is a killer! I say boo to hills.

Nice pace...even up the hill, that is a long steep hill! Can't wait to see you again at Onion Days, consider the 10K - it's fun :)

From Kelli on Wed, Aug 26, 2009 at 17:02:35 from 71.219.64.200

Back to running you go, and a very nice run on top of it all! Hills are your friend, I promise.

Well with all you guys there... I think I hear Onion Days calling my name!!! :) So now the decision is 10k or 5k...

I hear you on gaining motivation after a hard run!! But, you did it and you did GREAT!!! I hate hills. Despite what Kelli says, they are not my friend. Kelli kicks heels but hills kick me!! Very nice job!! Love the new pic too!!
