I remembered today that I like running.  I don't know why I'm so easy to forget except that my bed is always so warm and outside of the bed isn't :).  It was a good run today.  I just wanted to do what felt comfortable. You know me, I don't like to push myself :). Actually since last week was so off and on running I didn't want to push too much and pull a muscle or something.  I don't feel like I'm where I want to be for a 5k so I probably won't do Onion days :(.  I just want to kill my last time when I do it adn I don't think that will happen right now.

Oh and I think I'm starting a new job! I don't know for sure when yet but the hours would be 7-4 (ouch that's early) so I guess I'll have to start running after work.  i don't think I can do the 5 a.m. running thing.

where's the new job? why didn't I know about it? is it in accounting? you could do some speed work today or tomorrow and then decide if you would be ready freddy for the 5k at onion days

I don't think you could do the 5 am running thing either. Nice splits today.

Burts correct.

Very nice run today! I'm with Merri. Don't give up on the 5K just yet.

A new job is nice. Running after work won't be so bad especially when the weather gets cooler in the Fall and Winter.

I agree with Smooth, don't give up on the 5K. It's a social event, not a running event! Besides which, every time you choose to exert effort and discipline over 'comfort' you become stronger mentally. You've grown a lot in the past summer. I think that mental toughness really comes in handy for all kinds of life tasks. Don't forfeit the Onion Days!!! We want to see you at Marion's!

I like the idea of it being a social even not a running event. :)

ha ha well if it's social and no one will be embarrassed of my time then I am in :). I love socials. okay now you've all got me thinking maybe I'll do it. Darn it! :)
