Say hello to my new best friend: GARMIN! It came and happy early birthday to me, thank you husband.
But I can't quite figure out how everything works. I don't know how to show my splits. I may need everyone's help on that.
Anyway I started at Will's and ran up the canyon same as last saturday but I went a little farther up so that I could get 8. I stopped for a drink at the fountain up the canyon and forgot to push start again on the watch. Luckily I noticed .35 miles later so even though my garmin says I only ran 7.67 I really ran 8.
7.67 in 1:12 So I'm thinking 8 in 1:15 or so. Not as fast as I want to be but still feeling good. I wish I could have it show my splits because I know my first few miles were around 8:30 and that's where I want to be. Stopped at Golds on my way home and lifted on legs and abs. I felt much better today than last weekend, sorry you had to see me like that merri :) And next saturday I better be feeling good since I'll be running the freedom festival 10k.
